Hudson Pickleball & Tennis Courts Lighting Project Fund

Support Hudson’s Pickleball and Tennis Courts located at Barlow Farm Park!

The goal of this fund is to raise money to add lights to the courts.  They were opened in October 2022. At the time of construction, the plan was to add lighting and the site is prepped for the lights.  However, available city funds did not enable the installation of the lights at the time.  There is a group of local volunteers working to raise funds for the LED Lights to increase available playing time.

Six Easy Ways to Give

  • By Credit Card:  See links above 
  • Send a Cash or Check:  Make checks payable to Hudson Community Foundation, and add “Annual Fund” in the memo line. Mail to: Hudson Community Foundation, P.O. Box 944, Hudson, OH 44236
  • Transfer from DAF:  If you have a Donor-Advised Fund, you can simply transfer a gift from your fund.  
  • Give from IRA:  Donors aged 70 1/2 and older may direct contributions from an IRA to our Hudson Community Foundation Annual Fund, excluding them from taxable income (up to $105,000), and counting them towards the required minimum distribution. The IRS provision excludes contributions to donor-advised funds or private foundations, this is a great way to take advantage of this tax benefit while supporting local nonprofits. 
  • Securities:  Give a gift of securities by calling our office: (330) 655-3580
  • Matching Gifts:  Don’t forget to check if your employer makes matching gifts! Some companies will double or triple your contribution, increasing the impact of your gift.
