Annual Fireworks - December Downtown - Saturday, December 2nd
Hudson Community Foundation is proud to present our annual fireworks show on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. and launches from Veterans Way downtown.
Viewable areas include First & Main green, Gazebo green, Acme parking lot, or any other public green or parking area downtown.
This annual event is made possible by the generosity of our donors like you. Our Fireworks Fund is endowed. That means they are permanently funded and will continue here in Hudson. This is another example of HCF working to enhance the overall quality of life right here in Hudson, Ohio.
Friday, November 24, 2023
Join the community in the annual Lighting of the Greens, Friday, November 24th at 5 pm. Everyone is invited to begin gathering on the gazebo area of the green for a free event beginning at 5 p.m. The annual lighting and holiday caroling is a beloved Hudson tradition made possible through the efforts of the Hudson Lighting Committee, Hudson League for Service, Hudson Community Foundation, Hudson Community Choruses and Destination Hudson. Again this year will be an Ugly Sweater Contest.
Prior to flipping the switch to light the majestic trees on the green, caroling will be led by adult and youth members of the community choruses, who will sing as they process through the green before reaching the historic gazebo by 5 pm.
Visit us 5-6 pm at the Baldwin House, 49 East Main Street for cookies and candy canes! We hope to see you!
The Holiday Lighting Fund was opened at Hudson Community Foundation to build a fund so that the Hudson Annual Lighting of the Greens expenses will continue in perpetuity each holiday season. All lights and greenery around town during the holiday season have been funded by generous donors. Thank you to all that have supported over the years!
To support the Holiday Lighting Fund as we work towards an endowment allowing the tradition to continue in perpetuity, donate online or mail your donation to Hudson Community Foundation, FBO Lighting Fund, PO Box 944, Hudson, Ohio 44236. Donations also will be accepted at the lighting event.
