The Anne E. Boswell Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in memory of Anne, a long-time Hudson Resident and educator. Anne had a generous spirit and always looked to help anyone when she could. Teaching and coaching volleyball were among some of her main passions in life. The scholarship assists a Hudson High School volleyball player where Anne coached for 10 seasons, as well as a Cuyahoga Heights senior where Anne concluded her educational career.
The Carol Harvey Memorial Scholarship has been established in memory of Carol, a long-time Hudson resident and first grade teacher at Evamere Elementary School. Her dedication to her students was evident as she strived to instill in them confidence, kindness and a lifelong love of reading and learning. The scholarship assists Hudson High School seniors planning to major in education.
Reflecting David Farrell’s interest and love of horticulture, The David F. Farrell, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund of The Hudson Garden Club will support students who plan to study horticulture, forestry, botany, landscape design, environmental sciences or related subjects at a recognized school or college for such study. The scholarship is open to any Hudson resident attending an accredited college. Scholarships are awarded annually in the spring.
Established in memory of Denise Lukingbeal, beloved Hudson teacher. Denise, or “Mrs. L”, dedicated her life to the service of others, and is remembered by all for the kindness, love, joy, and generosity she spread everywhere she went. While Mrs. L spent the majority of her career as a 2nd grade teacher at Ellsworth Hill, she also held prior roles as a Reading Specialist and Art Teacher. Mrs. L was a pillar of the Hudson community, and the profound impact she had on students, teachers, and staff leaves a lasting legacy with Hudson Schools. This scholarship is for Hudson High School Students pursuing a degree in Education and a passion for helping others.
This scholarship will be awarded to a Male Hudson High School Senior who is pursuing a major degree in medicine or premedical studies. To be eligible you must be: a male senior student residing in the Hudson School District, have a minimum academic average of 3.5, demonstrates financial need and advanced studies must be planned at an accredited university or college.
The Dr. Ann S. Hickin Memorial Scholarship is a heartfelt initiative established by her family to honor the memory and legacy of Ann, who deeply valued education and the pursuit of knowledge. This scholarship aims to provide financial support to deserving students attending Our Lady of the Elms, fostering their academic aspirations, and helping them achieve their educational goals.
The Gale Ann Haller Artist Scholarship is created by her family in her memory. This Scholarship has been established to assist Hudson High School seniors pursuing an art degree and honor Gale’s love of art. Gale was known for her great innate artistic talent, particularly her acrylic paintings. She belonged to multiple artistic societies during her lifetime.
In loving memory of Regina “Gina” Ciresi. The Gina Ciresi Memorial Music Scholarship has been established by her family and friends which encourages Hudson youth to pursue Gina’s love of music. The scholarship will be awarded to a Hudson High School Senior.
This fund was established by Gerald Hajarian in memory of his parents to provide financial assistance to a student who has overcome obstacles to achieve higher education. The annual award is given to Hudson High School students pursuing a higher education degree.
Hudson Hawks Football and Cheer thrives on decades of volunteer dedication, exemplified by Mike DeLeo’s 28 years of mentoring and coaching. Under his leadership, the programs is committed to community outreach, as seen in initiatives like the Hudson Challenger Game and discreet assistance to families in need. This annual award goes to Hudson High School Seniors that participated in Hawks.
The primary purpose of this scholarship is to support high school students who demonstrate financial need and a strong work ethic by participating in after-school jobs. This scholarship aims to provide these students with the opportunity to attend vocational and technical programs that include industrial trade, service trade, construction trade and transportation trade but not necessarily limited to them.
This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to (1) Boy and (1) Girl participating on the Hudson High School boys’ or girls’ soccer team for at least 2 years and have a minimum GPA of 3.25 through the 3rd quarter of senior year and advance studies must be planned at an accredited university.
This fund is for an annual Hudson High School boys lacrosse scholarship to one player that had participated during high school minimum academic average of 3.0 and advance studies must be planned at an accredited university and demonstrates strong character and passion about Lacrosse.
In memory of Kathryn (Manos) Miceli, “Kathy”. The Kathryn Miceli Memorial Scholarship has been established which encourages Hudson youth to pursue Kathy’s love of education and mathematics. Kathy will forever be missed by many family members, friends, colleagues and former students.
The Margaret McGrainor Art Scholarship is given to a Hudson High School senior who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, completed at least three years of Art and plans to attend college and major in Art.
This annual award goes to a graduating Mayfield High School senior who is pursuing a career in education as a licensed teacher that shares her true passion for learning and teaching.
The Fund was developed to help support education related endeavors which promote the application of constructive, nonviolent forums, processes, and techniques for resolving local to global issues. This includes supporting student scholarships, student participation in related conferences, research, international study opportunities, and/or internships.

This memorial scholarship fund, established by the McGhee and Bellamy families, is in memory of their children. The recipient(s) of this award resembles the children’s spirit of energy, enthusiasm, fun and integrity. This scholarship will be awarded to Aurora High School football players that embody the characteristics of both Paulie and Adam
Ronald McGrainor Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Hudson High School seniors pursuing an engineering degree.
The Scott Lee Memorial Scholarship has been established by his family in memory of Scott, a longtime Hudson resident. The scholarship assists Hudson High School seniors pursuing a college major in the area of law enforcement, forensics or criminal justice.
In memory of Steve, the Steve Sogan Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established by his family and friends to assist Hudson High School seniors pursuing a college degree. Steve attended Hudson High School from 1989-1993. A three sport athlete, he was inducted into the Hudson High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. Athletically, he always gave 100% and was named Male Athlete of the Year in 1993. Many of his teammates have remained close friends throughout his life.
This fund has been established as a memorial for the Tobin Family in memory of their loved ones. Grants will be issued to charities in memory of their family. All donations to this fund are fully taxed deductible.
